Miner & Dickens Crowned Harvest Festival King & Queen!

The Thrall Community Education Foundation (TCEF) hosted its 4th annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, Nov. 3. Harvest Festival is a long-standing tradition at Thrall ISD. Activities for Harvest Festival included Turkey & Dressing Supper, Silent Auction, King & Queen Coronation, Carnival Games and Raffle Drawing.
Harvest Festival 2018 Coronation Court:
The King and Queen Candidates for each grade level, along with the help of their classmates, raised funds by selling raffle tickets or collecting monetary donations. The candidates raising the highest amount were crowned Harvest Festival King & Queen at the Coronation Ceremony at 5:00 pm in the MS Gym.

All monies collected from raffle ticket sales or donations will be deposited into the Thrall Community Education Foundation account. TCEF funding priorities are student scholarships, classroom initiatives and professional development. TCEF offers all graduating Thrall ISD seniors up to a $1,000 scholarship to be used for education beyond high school.
Harvest Festival 2018 Schedule:
Turkey & Dressing Dinner - 4 pm - 6 pm  -  ES/MS Cafeteria
Silent Auction - 4 pm - 7 pm  -  ES/MS Band Hall
Coronation - 5 pm  -  MS Gym
Carnival Games - immediately following Coronation - Approximately 5:15-7 pm  -  Pavilion
Raffle Ticket Drawing - 7 pm  -  ES/MS Cafeteria
Carnival Games:
Bean Bag/Frisbee Toss, Cake Walks, Country Store, Estimation, Inflatable Castle, Instant Photo, Jail, Lollipop Pull, Penny Drop, Poker Chip Drop/Toss, Putt Putt Golf, Ring Toss, Skeet Shoot, Water Balloon Toss and Wheel of Fortune!
Water Bottles and Popcorn will be available to purchase during the Carnival Games time.
MS National Junior Honor Society and Student Council will be taking Christmas Poinsettia Orders during the Carnival Games time. 
Donations will be collected for the purchase of Trauma Kits for Thrall ISD classrooms and other areas during the Carnival Games time.
