TISD Athletic Department has published a Google calendar for easy viewing of athletic activities for May and continuing throughout the summer. Traffic Flow & Parking Changes Begin May 8

Beginning on Monday, May 8, Thrall ISD will close the front parking lots and the front school traffic lanes on Bounds Street to allow for construction progress in these areas. This closure includes the entire front of Thrall ISD from the Elementary on the south end to the Middle-High School on the north end. There will not be access to park in the front areas and fencing will prohibit individuals from walking through the area. Bounds Street itself will remain open. Read more...

School Calendar 2017-18 Available

The student District Calendar for next school year, 2017-18, is available here (click on the title of this article) and also under the Parents menu. School begins on Monday, August 28 for all students. This calendar was approved by the Thrall ISD Board of Trustees at its Wednesday, March 22 regular meeting.

Thrall ISD Moves Forward with District of Innovation Plan

House Bill (HB) 1842, passed during the 84th Legislative Session, permits Texas public school districts to become Districts of Innovation and to obtain exemption from certain provisions of the Texas Education Code. On March 22, 2017, the Thrall Independent School District’s Board of Trustees passed a Resolution to explore the development of a District of Innovation Plan to increase local control over District operations and to support innovation and local initiatives. D.A.R.E. Graduation Ceremony Held

The D.A.R.E. 5th Grade Students Graduation at Thrall Elementary was held on January 6 in the Thrall ISD Cafetorium. Officer Kreidel, Williamson County Sheriff's Department, wished the graduates well in the future, free from drugs. Students were chosen to read their essays. These students included: Kierra Danek, Trace Karch, Dawson Mieske, Luke Pearson, McKenzie Stenholm and Talia Yanez. Read more...

PAWS Trip Scheduled!

PAWS Trip celebrating a successful 4th six weeks for 5th-8th grade qualifying students is scheduled for Thursday, March 9. Students will eat lunch and enjoy outdoor fun at the Taylor Regional Park & Sports Complex. Read more...
