New HS Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Soon!

Parking Changes-Summer 2017

Beginning on Monday, June 5, Thrall ISD will close the BACK parking lots to allow for construction progress in these areas. This closure includes north of the Pavilion, behind the MS and HS buildings, etc. There will not be access to drive or park in these areas, and individuals are not allowed to walk through these areas. All parking must be done at the south Elementary parking lot. Your cooperation is appreciated.

School Calendar 2017-18 Available

The student District Calendar for next school year, 2017-18, is available here (click on the title of this article) and also under the Parents menu. School begins on Monday, August 28 for all students. This calendar was approved by the Thrall ISD Board of Trustees at its Wednesday, March 22 regular meeting.

Thrall ISD Moves Forward with District of Innovation Plan

House Bill (HB) 1842, passed during the 84th Legislative Session, permits Texas public school districts to become Districts of Innovation and to obtain exemption from certain provisions of the Texas Education Code. On March 22, 2017, the Thrall Independent School District’s Board of Trustees passed a Resolution to explore the development of a District of Innovation Plan to increase local control over District operations and to support innovation and local initiatives.
